西藏这个雪域佛国，位于青藏高原的西南部，它以雄伟壮观、神奇瑰丽的自然风光闻名于世，这片土地上的人们为人类文明创造了丰富灿烂的民族文化。

Tibet, the snow-capped Buddhism region, is located in the southwest of Qinghai on the Tibetan Plateau and is well known for its magnificent and fascinating natural scenery. The people of this land have created a rich and brilliant culture and human civilization.

艺术家南海岩醉心于此，几十次来这里采风创作，是因为他感受到这个民族是多情、多义、多彩的民族。这里有人性的呼唤，有相依的煽情，有淳朴的憨然，有虔诚的信仰，有人间的真爱......这里的每一情每一景无不感染着他，他通过手中的画笔使墨色交融吞吐洪荒，以虔诚的心态描绘着世间人性人格最纯最真的言语；他以最富有内涵的色彩显示着人间的美好；他用画笔拂去凡世的尘埃，使心灵心语心愿。
The artist Haiyan Nan, engrossed with this land, has visited Tibet dozens of times to create paintings, because he is drawn to this Tibetan people’s affectionate, righteous, and colorful region. There exists the call of humanity, dependent sentiments, unsophisticated ingenuousness, religious faith, and a true love of humankind. Every scene and sentiment of Tibet has affected him. He creates ink blends and chaos to paint the primitive to describe the purest and most genuine words of humanity and personality with a religious attitude. He exhibited a beauty in life of the human world with his use of deep colors. He whisked earthly dust with his writing brush to express words and wishes from the heart and soul.

用笔墨描绘藏民的幸福生活

这里的藏民有阳光的乐天精神，有安详的生活瞬间，有朴实的心态，有温和的慈爱，有自由的天空......伴着遨游的雄鹰，更有放飞的心灵。自由与浪漫，虔诚与正直一直在围绕着艺术家南海岩。他用笔墨语言谱写着藏民的彪悍与神勇，用色彩点染着他们的幸福安康，他大胆用笔，激情用墨，讲究形式，完美构成，细心推敲，反复琢磨......用真诚来诠释藏民的信仰，用圣洁来描写他们的博爱。他深挖艺术的真谛，用形体结构来塑造藏民的生活状态，用夸张特写描绘他们的笑语言情，使得艺术与生活对话，情感与创作相连。
There are depicted cheerful spirits, composed moments of life, simple attitudes, gentle kindness, and free sky and souls with roaming eagles. Free and romantic, devout with integrity are themes that are utilized by Haiyan Nan. He uses the language of ink painting to exhibit the valiant and brave Tibetan people, colors to tint their happiness and welfare, genuineness to interpret their beliefs, and sanctity to depict love for humanity. He uses the brush fearlessly and employs inks passionately. He is formal, strives for perfect in constitution, and is deliberating in thought over his work. He attempts to find the essence of art portrayed in the life and state of Tibet’s people by shape and structure, sketching their laughter and affection exaggeratedly, creating a dialogue between art and life and a connection between affection and creation.

捕捉到藏民生活瞬间
Catching the moments of the Tibetan people’s lives
艺术家南海岩在绘画创作中没有机械的去描摹某一景或某一物，而是用鹰隼般的眼睛在捕捉物象的精彩之处，找寻物象瞬间所传递的俊俏身影。精彩是因为会生成一种语言，感动自己，同样也可以感动别人。艺术不是照相式的翻版，而是“形而上”的一种文化。他所捕捉到的动态反映了一个人的智慧，一个人的才情，完成的作品是绘画者才、学、胆、识的表现，里面浸透着他对现实社会的理解，对人文情怀的关注。
Artist Haiyan Nan, rather than mechanically depicting scenery or objects, attempts to catch the brilliance in images and to look for the moments of beauty. For Nan, splendor can generate a language that can touch oneself and others. Art, to Nan, is not the duplication of photography, but the culture of the metaphysical. The movements of men, which he depicts in his work, reflect notions of wisdom and talent. 画家简介
南海岩，1962年生于山东省平原县，1982年毕业于德州师专艺术系，同年分配于平原师范学校任美术教师。1994年入北京画院深造于王明明工作室，并受益于卢沉、周思聪和姚有多等教授。现为北京画院专业画家，国家一级美术师，中国美术家协会会员，北京美协中国画艺术委员会委员。
其传略及作品入编《中国现代美术全集》、《中国当代美术全集》、《二十一世纪中国绘画精华录》等大型画集。
作品《阳光璀璨》于1999年获得第九届全国美展铜奖，《净土》于2003年获得第二届中国画大展铜奖，《金谷》于2004年获文化部全国画院双年展优秀作品最佳作品奖。《虔诚》入选百年中国画大展，并被中国美术馆收藏。
出版有《南海岩画集》、《当代美术家精品集·南海岩》、《南海岩重彩人物画集》、《名家名画·南海岩彩墨人物》、《百年中国画展名家精品·南海岩专辑》等十余部作品专集。
