张新权的作品充盈着风的流动气息，有清风晓静树影挪移，有烟雨蒙蒙幽远澹香，也有拂拂微风绿雾葱茏……
Mr. Xinquan Zhang’s Artworks are filled with the flowing breath of the wind. There are scenes of gentle breeze moving through tranquil trees, misty rain with a distant and faint fragrance, as well as gentle breezes mingling with verdant mists...
临风，在这里的意思即迎风写景的意识与行为。
"Standing in the wind" here refers to the consciousness and behavior of writing scenes in the wind.

他对自然的感觉敏锐又细腻，色的氤氲、线的神智及画面肌理构成了画面的差异与同一。既有传统文化的折射，又有对当代现实的内心关照。画面是心的灵境、物的神韵在默寻瞬间的心路。
He possesses a keen and delicate sense of nature. The interplay of color's mistiness, line's intelligence, and the texture of the picture form both the differences and unity of the images. There are reflections of traditional culture as well as inner reflections on contemporary reality. The picture is a spiritual realm of the heart and the charm of objects in the silent search of moments.

艺术创作是极其个人化的行为，也是一种不可忍受束缚的存在。张新权不断反观个人的视觉经验，即以个体艺术语言对传统文化载体进行重构并赋予寓言色彩，创作过程中完全混合了具像、表现和抽象语言的平衡，构建起一个亦真亦幻的世界。他有意拉开色相之间的对比，让你我恍若置于梦中，但画面情绪并不指向喧嚣，而是导向一种更为深沉的静穆，所呈现的景象显现出某种豁然。
Artistic creation is an extremely personal act and an existence that cannot tolerate constraints. Mr. Xinquan Zhang’s constantly reflects on his visual experiences, reconstructing traditional cultural carriers with individual artistic language and imbuing them with allegorical colors. The creative process fully blends the balance of figurative, expressive, and abstract languages, constructing a world that is both real and illusory.

他让我们知道真正的艺术品则是一种纯粹的精神显现，作品擦掉了朴素与智力间的虚假界线，是包容的更是自己的。
He deliberately contrasts hues, making us feel as if we are in a dream, yet the emotional atmosphere of the picture does not lead to noise but rather guides us to a deeper tranquility. The presented scenes reveal a certain enlightenment. He lets us know that true works of art are a pure manifestation of the spirit, erasing the false boundary between simplicity and intellect, embracing both inclusiveness and self.
