「行动胜于言语」 ACTIONS SPEAK – WORDS WHISPER
在东京都美术馆举办的第21届日本国际艺术交流展，再次为全球艺术家提供了展现团结之核心信念的机会。这种信念是这次交流的重心。无论这种表现是否有意为之，艺术家之间的此种团结，声量远比他们可能认为自己所坚持的任何政治或文化力量都要来得高，即使是他们公开支持的那些信念。
面对一股似乎意图分裂我们的恶风，艺术家们热情参与本次展览便表明了：他们认为自己是向全世界的艺术家们敞开心扉的，而不是闭锁的。无论他们的原籍国家、宗教、肤色，或审美、哲学或政治偏好如何，他们都是一个有凝聚力的群体，同时通过他们创作的艺术品尊重地分享不同的世界观。
我很高兴能成为在第 21 届日本国际交流会展中，有目共睹的具有叙事连贯性的一份子。即使经历了一场可怕的大流行疫病的灰烬和爆发，然而正是这样的事件和事后努力的举措，让我相信我们可以像凤凰一样崛起并变得快乐。本次展览将展示它是建设更美好世界的典范。
我要向国际美术交流会主席 Katsu Shimmin 先生、艺术顾问唐勇力先生、张志民先生表达我个人的感激之情，感激他们那份使展览取得成功并邀请我共同策划展览的顽强决心。在一个看似不可能的时节，Katsu 先生为数百名艺术家提供了可能性。也感谢东京都美术馆，邀请本次交流会展成员及其作品在历史最悠久的艺术场所、日本第一家公立美术馆举办展览。美术馆已经认识到第 21 届日本国际艺术交流对参观者的价值，我和我的艺术家同行们真的很感激这个荣誉。（朱丽安·约翰逊，美国，国际美术交流会艺术顾问/策展人 2022 年 4 月）
The 21st Japan International Art Exchange Exhibition, held at the Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum, has once again provided artists worldwide with an opportunity to demonstrate a core belief in unity. That belief stands at the heart of this exchange. Whether or not this manifestation was intentional, this solidarity among artists sounds out louder than any political or cultural force they may think they adhere to, even those they espouse publicly.
In the face of an ill wind, seemingly designed to divide us, the enthusiastic participation of artists in this Exhibition has made it clear that they regard themselves as reaching out to, not retreating from, their peers and colleagues worldwide. No matter their country of origin, religion, skin color, or aesthetic, philosophical or political preferences, they stand as a cohesive unit while respectfully sharing different world views through the artworks they create.
I am thrilled to be a part of the coherent narrative so evident in the 21st Japan International Exchange. Even through the ashes and flare-ups of a horrific pandemic, it is events and efforts like this that make me believe we can rise like a Phoenix and be joyful. This exhibition presents itself as a model toward building a better world.
I would like to express my personal gratitude to our Chairman, Mr. Katsu Shimmin, Art Advisor Mr. Tang Yongli and Mr. Zhang Zhimin for they tenacious determination in bringing this show to fruition and for inviting me to be a part of the project. During a season of seeming impossibility Mr. Katsu has offered possibility to hundreds of artists. Thanks, too, to the Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum, which has invited this exchange to take place at a most historic venue, the first public art museum in Japan. Artist • Dong Gang
董罡（大罡）中国致公党员，美术学博士，山东省美协理事，山东青年政治学院设计艺术学院特聘教授。 Dong Gang (Dagang), a member of China Zhigong, doctor of fine arts, director of Shandong Artists Association, and distinguished professor of the school of design and art of Shandong Youth Political College.
