2月25日下午，济南市安生学校初中部举行家长开放日，初一初二学生家长走进校园，零距离感受孩子在安生的学习和生活。
On the afternoon of February 25th, Jinan Thomas Middle School held and Open Day for parents. Parents Grade 7 and 8 students walk onto the campus to experience their children’s studies and life at Thomas.

——体验中西融合的课堂模式
First stop, classroom observation: experience the classroom model of Chinese and Western integration
初中部是如何双语教学的？小班化教育有没有关注到每个孩子？孩子们的合作学习是怎么开展的？
How is bilingual teaching in Junior High School? Does an intensive class focus on every child? How does cooperative learning work for children?
带着这些疑问，家长们走进课堂。
With these questions in mind, parents walked into class.
语文课上，老师带领学生从《竹里馆》和《鹿柴》中，感受王维诗中的美景与晚年心境。
In the Chinese class, the teacher led the students to experience the beauty of Wang Wei’s poems and the mood in his later years, from the Bamboo Pavilion and Deer Wood.
外教课上，Clark用绕口令的方式，开启一节音标课的学习。
In the ESL class, Clark begins a phonetic alphabet lesson with a tongue twister.
数学课上，老师带来《一元一次不等式组》，松弛有度，构思精巧，讲练结合。
The math class - the content of which is “one unary inequality Group” – is relaxed, ingenious, and combined with practice.
生物课上，老师带大家学习《生物圈中的植物》，用英语讲述植物的主要类群和植物蒸腾作用。
In her biology review lesson “Plants in the Biosphere”, Ms. Wei Yan introduced the plant groups, and plant transpiration, in English.
物理课上，老师结合实际生活中的“力”，巧妙地把课本内容引入课堂。
In physics class, the teacher combined in real life “force”, and skillfully introduced the textbook content into the class.
课堂上，老师们根据各自的学科特点，创设情景教学，讲练结合。
In class, according to the characteristics of their respective subjects, teachers create situational lessons, combining teaching and practice.
既凸显了新课标，又引入双语教学内容，还关注到小组合作。
This not only highlights the new curriculum standard, but also introduces bilingual teaching content, and pays attention to group cooperation.
中西融合的课堂内容和教学方式，真正让中西方思维在学生头脑中碰撞。
The integration of Chinese and Western classroom content and teaching methods really makes Chinese and Western thinking come together in the minds of the students.

表彰大会
——见证孩子的成长和收获
The second stop, Commendation Conference: Witnessing the children’s growth and blooming
初一初二表彰大会分别在音乐厅和报告厅举行。初中学生用一场“文明礼仪T台秀”开场。
The Commendation Conferences for Grade 7 and Grade 9 were held in the Concert Hall and the Lecture Hall, respectively. Middle School students started with a “Fashion Show”.
2022年，安生学生勤奋学习、严于律己，在各个方面都涌现出一些典型。
In 2022, Thomas students studied hard, were strict with themselves, and there were some typical examples in all respects.
初中部为表现突出的学生颁发了“校级优秀学生”、“班级优秀学生”、安生星光少年之网课之星、学习之星、文明之星、和谐之星、进步之星、尊师之星等15个奖项。
The Middle School awarded the "School-Level Outstanding Student", "Class Outstanding Student", "Thomas Youth Online Course Star", "Learning Star" , "Civility Star" ," Harmony Star", "Progress Star", and "Respectful Star" to outstanding students. There were 15 awards in total.
每一张奖状，都是孩子们努力的见证。
Every certificate was a testimony to the hard work of the children.
学生的成长，学校的发展，都离不开家长的支持。初中部为热心家长颁发了荣誉证书。
The growth of students and the development of the school are inseparable from the support of parents. Thus, Middle School also issued honorary certificates to enthusiastic parents.

校长分享
——清晰学部规划，共谋学校发展
The third stop, Principal’s sharing: clarifying the planning of the department and seeking the development of the school together
济南市安生学校总校长武树滨、高中部校长郝卫红，分别进行了校长分享。
Wu Shubin - the general principal of Jinan Ansheng School - and Hao Weihong - the principal of the senior high school - shared their thoughts with their respective presentations.
针对初一学生目前的整体状况，武树滨分享了如何培养学生批判性思维、跨学科学习和社会化合作学习的能力。
Focusing on the current, overall situation of grade 7 students, Wu Shubin shared how to cultivate students' abilities of critical thinking, interdisciplinary learning and socialized cooperative learning.
针对初二学生的学习情况和未来发展方向，郝卫红分享了很多实用性建议。高中部优秀学长，也分享了如何进行高效学习。
Regarding the learning situation and future development direction of grade 8 students, Hao Weihong shared a lot of practical suggestions. An outstanding senior in the senior high school also shared how to learn efficiently.
家长开放日，是济南市安生学校开放性办学的一种姿态。家长的肯定，给予学校前进的动力，家长的建议，给予学校发展的助力。
Parents Open Day was a gesture of Jinan Thomas School’s openness. The affirmation of parents gives the school the impetus to move forward, and the advice of parents gives the school the power to develop.
