For the beginning of the new semester, here comes good news to Jinan Thomas Middle school.
在2022年英国物理测评（初级）/JPC比赛中，14名初中学子，摘得了全球奖项，其中6人获得全球金奖，2人获得全球银奖，6人获得全球铜奖。
2022年澳大利亚数学全国测评（AMC），获得2个一等奖，11个二等奖，24个三等奖，34个数学技能奖。
At the 2022 British Physics Challenge (Junior), 14 junior school students won the global awards. Among them, 6 students won the Global Gold Award, 2 students won the Global Sliver Award, and 6 students won the Global Bronze Award.
At the 2022 Australian Mathematics National Assessment (AMC)，71 students won prizes, including two first prizes, 11 second prizes, 24 third prizes, and 34 mathematical skill prizes.

英国物理测评（初级）（JuniorPhysicsChallenge）比赛是由英国物理奥林匹克组委会主办的比赛活动。
The British Junior Physics Challenge (Junior Physics Challenge) is a competition hosted by the British Physics Olympiad Organizing Committee.
本次比赛题型新颖，将物理原理与生活常识紧密结合在一起，包容性与趣味性兼容，涵盖动力学、电力、光学、热力学、波、单位、少量天文学等各种主题，提高了学生的参与度。
The question types of this competition are novel, which closely combine physical principles and common sense of living, compatible with inclusiveness and fun. They also cover various topics such as dynamics, electricity, optics, thermodynamics, waves, units, and a small amount of astronomy, which increases student engagement.

每年，AMT通过澳大利亚数学测评（AMC）为澳大利亚选拔国际数学奥林匹克国家代表队。
Every year, AMT selects teammates of the International Mathematical Olympiad National Team for Australia through the Australian Mathematical Assessment (AMC).

不仅如此，她还非常善于总结，做错的题目一定会再三请教老师，重新缕清思路，直到吃透为止。

从去年暑假开始，不管多忙，每周，指导教师都会抽空给学生辅导1-2次，直至竞赛前夕。

张德宝说，新的数学方法和概念，常常比解决数学问题本身更重要，因此在辅导过程中，数学组非常重视对学生数学方法的训练，让学生在练习中，拓宽解题思路、培养数学思维。
