Most of them are university students, so I could learn some ideas from them which broaden my eyesight. Last but not least, this course provides some significant ideas about racial relationships and cultural interaction.

The materials it offers will help me a lot in my future study. In the study of EFL courses, we have mainly learned the relevant knowledge of economics, not only the dogmatic knowledge system in textbooks, but also the combination with real life. In class, we analyzed the disadvantages of the modern economic system, analyzed the development and successful experiences of some globalized enterprises, and analyzed the current situation of some contemporary product markets.
在这里，学生主导课堂，每节课都有一半时间进行分组讨论，每个人都能去展现自己的观点和想法。
Unlike the way of learning in school, it is not the teacher who leads the class, but the student who leads the class. We had half the time in each class for group discussions, and everyone had ample opportunities to express their views and ideas.

In this summer school, the professor would assign us specific reading assignments every day. We needed to borrow the relevant literature through the online library of the University of Chicago, and in the class, the professor would make an extension. and answer questions based on the relevant content of the literature we read.
在这门课上，我了解到政治经济内部的联系以及相关的发展过程，受益匪浅。
In this class, I learned about the connections within the political economy and the related development process, which benefited me a lot.

We needed to study the content of the freshman year at the University of Chicago within a month. In the ten days of study and life, I think I have also gained a lot of things beyond the textbook.
我们每天都有一个半小时的理论课，一个小时的拓展课，一到两小时的培训课，还有数次作业和小组活动。
Every day we have one-and-a-half-hour theory lessons, one hour extension lessons and one-to-two-hour training sessions plus numerous assignments and group activities.
在此期间，我不仅学到了marketing，massage等学术知识，academic writing，presentation等学术技能，还提升了和小组组员的沟通交流，任务分配等能力。
During this period, I not only learned academic knowledge such as marketing and massage, academic skills such as academic writing and presentation, but also learned the ability to communicate with team members and assign tasks in a group. During the two weeks of study, I gradually got used to expressing opinions, asking questions and participating in discussions in the group.
在夏校中，我一直在不断学习，不断锻炼，突破自己。

During the Cambridge pre-university summer program, I benefited from watching the lectures given by the professors about different subjects. Not only did I learn about subjects I had never known before, but I also learned a lot of practical study skills.
而且，在每场讲座论坛中，和来自全球各地的同学讨论学术问题，让我能从不同角度和层次去看待问题。
Moreover, discussing academic issues with outstanding students from all over the world in the forum of each lecture allowed me to look at the same issue from different perspectives and levels.
线上的直播讲座和答疑，也让我有机会，向来自顶尖学府的教授们提出困惑并获得解答。这次暑期项目收获颇丰。
The online live lectures and Q&A sessions also gave me the opportunity to ask my questions and get answers from professors at top universities. Overall, the summer program was very rewarding!

部分课题和我们的生活相关联，比如生物和当今疫情结合的课题。学习和理解起来并不像想象中困难，老师课后留下的问题也引人深思。
Some topics are related to our life, such as the topic of biology and the current epidemic. Learning and understanding are not as difficult as imagined, and the questions left by the teacher after class are also thought-provoking.
很高兴能和世界各地的学生一起回答并讨论课后问题，也从中体会到了文化差异。
It is a pleasure to answer and discuss after-class questions with students from all over the world, and also appreciate the cultural differences.

Although eight weeks is short, I have gained a lot. From Determinants in Linear Algebra to Singular Value Decomposition to Divergence Theorem in Multivariate Calculus, I have gained more than just knowledge. It is an understanding of university study life and a clear future goal.
